Privacy
Short version: the shop needs a few things stored in your browser to work at all. Everything else is off until you turn it on.
These are not tracking. Without them the cart empties between pages and forms stop working. We rely on them to provide a service you have asked for, so they are on by default and cannot be switched off while you use the shop.

These are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are not sent to us and no third party can read them.
Google Ads, so we can tell which adverts actually bring patients to the practice rather than paying for ones that do nothing. If you decline, the tag runs in a mode where it stores nothing on your device.
We do not use advertising cookies to build a profile of your health, and we never pass anything you enter on the intake form, the consultation form or the shop to an advertising network.
MailerLite runs our newsletter signup and remembers whether you have already seen it. Its script does not load at all until you allow it, which is why the signup box on the stories page stays empty if you have declined.
Use the button at the top of this page, or the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Clearing your browser data also resets everything, including your saved delivery details.
Under POPIA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@swissmedica.co.za and mark it for the Information Officer. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
