Precision medicine, prescribed properly.

A doctor-led practice built on functional medicine: we investigate why you feel the way you do, test for it, and prescribe compounded peptide therapy only where the clinical picture supports it.

Your first consultation

R450

A full discussion of your concerns, a recommended blood panel, functional diagnostic options, and whether peptide therapy has a role in your case.

Where your medicine comes from

Every preparation is compounded for you by name, on prescription, by a SAHPRA-licensed South African compounding pharmacy. Not imported research-grade material bought online.

What it costs

We publish our prices. On most items you will pay meaningfully less than the closest doctor-supervised clinic in South Africa, with no separate script fee.

Designed in Switzerland, made in South Africa

Swiss functional medicine is unglamorous by design. It starts with measurement, moves slowly, and treats the person rather than the symptom. We have built a South African practice on that method — the same discipline, the same patience, local prescribing, local compounding, local prices.

What we see most

Fatigue that bloodwork missed

Thyroid, iron studies, B12, vitamin D and metabolic markers read against optimal ranges, not just reference ranges.

Injuries that keep coming back

Soft-tissue and tendon complaints where recovery has stalled despite good rehab.

Metabolic health

Insulin resistance, stubborn weight, and the early metabolic picture that a standard glucose test does not show.

Hormonal change

Perimenopause, menopause and male hypogonadism, investigated and treated on evidence.

Sleep and cognition

Sleep quality, focus and mood, worked up before anything is prescribed.

Skin, hair and libido

Where there is a treatable underlying driver, we look for it first.

How it works

1. Book your consult

R450, in person in Kimberley or Sandton, or by telemedicine anywhere in South Africa.

2. Get tested

The doctor recommends a blood panel. You can use any pathology lab. Send results to intake@swissmedica.co.za.

3. Receive a prescription

If therapy is appropriate, the doctor prescribes it for you by name and the pharmacy compounds it.

4. Reorder online

With a current prescription on file, repeat orders take two clicks in the shop. No script fee.

New · life coaching

Supplement your care with a Swiss life coach

Online one-to-one coaching across personal training, wellness, yoga, breathwork, and emotional and spiritual guidance. From R500 per 30 minutes — and you do not need to be a Swiss Medica patient to begin.

Compounded peptide preparations are not registered medicines in South Africa. They are prepared for an individual patient against a valid prescription under the compounding provisions of the Medicines and Related Substances Act. Your doctor will explain the evidence, the limits of that evidence and the risks before prescribing anything.
